A burning in my chest, motivation
In it’s rawest form, my motivation for doing a lot of the things I do is to gain recognition and acknowledgement from people I admire. I’ve always got that by trying to best them, to be better than them, to be someone they can lean on and ask for help. I don’t think it’s the right path for me anymore, but the desire has been branded into me.
